Samsung Galaxy S21 series is getting One UI 3.1.1 features with new update      Samsung   Android   Firmware Updates Samsung has released new software updates for the  Galaxy S21 ,  S21+ , and  S21 Ultra , which come with the One UI 3.1.1 features, including a new bedtime mode, a new weather app, faster animations, and enhanced Camera app. Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra The new firmware, having version G99*WVLU4AUGQ, bumps up the Android security patch level on the S21 lineup to August 1, 2021, and adds Voice over Network Radio (VoNR) support to the units locked to T-Mobile's network in the US. The updates are currently seeding in the US (T-Mobile only) and Canada, but the rollout should expand to other markets soon. Via  

  Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G gets Bluetooth certification as launch nears . Samsung   Android   Rumors The  Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G  has now received the go-ahead from the Bluetooth SIG authority, which signifies that the phone is about ready to go official. The certification covers the model numbers SM-G990N, SM-G990B and SM-G990B_SD, all of which support Bluetooth 5.0.   Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G Bluetooth SIG certification The Galaxy S21 FE 5G will sport a design similar to the Galaxy S21-series phones except the camera island with be the same color as the rest of the back panel. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset with 6GB/8GB of RAM and a 4,500mAh battery . At the front will be a 6.41-inch 120Hz 1080p AMOLED and the phone will have 32MP selfie, 12MP wide and ultrawide cameras and an 8MP 3x zoom camera.

The communication app has seen a surge of voice and video calls, more than 150 million video calls per day, according to Facebook. The app is introducing the option for end-to-end encryption for both video and voice calls. This won’t be an automatic change, users will need to opt-in to end-to-end encryption and this will only work with other recipients who have also done the same. Disappearing messages are also being updated with new controls. Users will now be able to let messages disappear from as little as 5 seconds to as much as 24 hours.   Android 12 Beta replaces ongoing call “bubble” with “chip” POST YOUR COMMENT COMMENTS (10) Ricky   13 August 2021 Android   Google   Firmware updates Bubbles  was a standout feature for Android 11 when it launched last year. The bubbles are akin to Facebook Messenger’s Chat Heads and the dialer app takes this behavior when a user swipes out of the call screen. Notifications also appeared here and floated over the interface whenever a new notification came in for supported apps. With the  latest Android 12 Beta  build rolling out to Pixel devices this week, app develops have to finalize their apps’ compatibility. What looks to be changing permanently is the ongoing phone call behavior on Android 12. This was pointed out by  Android Police  on the Beta 4 build of Android 12.
